Favours and blessings are something that we sometimes come across as we go about our day. The littlest things can mean the world to us, someone stopping the bus for you as you are about to miss it and be late for work is a blessing. It is never too small, they might have different impacts on your life but never too small.
How do we come about favour?
Favours are something you cannot really predict, a stranger could be the one to favour and uplift you while it can also be a longtime friend. Keeping an eye out for situations and friendships that can benefit us is looked upon as using people but no one really wants an affiliation that does not better them in the long run. You must always give back though if you can as you might also hold the key to better someone’s life.
Our Generation
Our generation meaning generation Z, we are so quick to stunt on people we do not know. A stranger could approach you in public for example and you might feel the need to act better, bigger than them because of who is around you or how you perceive them to look. Favours come from the least expected people sometimes and we should never judge people on what they are wearing or what they used to stand for. Keep a weary eye of course but never look and point down on someone because of what was. Another example could be a dm on Twitter or an inbox on Facebook.
Social Media has developed this idea of everyone that messages you aims to explore your naked body, wishes to use and dump you, aims to screenshot you or any negative reason, wrong! An inbox could be because someone has seen something you have worked on and wishes to open new doors for you, it could be because they have won a million pounds on the lottery and wishes to give you half. It literally could be that, it might be a very low percentage but who says you cannot be that low percentage?
Advice
Pre judgement and misconceptions can lead to us losing out on the favours and blessings that were meant to be ours and it might never come by again, that door might never be open again. One of my favourite celebrities that speaks so much truth once said “do not independence your way into loneliness”. My version of this would be do not independence your way into not being the great individual that you were meant to be, we all need someone at a point. So next time someone comes up to you trying to make a conversation or you can get that inbox or dm from a stranger, look at it as maybe I will grow from this.
